Danny and Amy with a family album from his TV past at a welcome-to-Philadelphia celebration. WYSP-FM (94.1) threw the party for its new morning host Tuesday at Center City's Hard Rock Cafe.
More Philly action
Danny also signed PF memorabilia at the Philly Hard Rock Cafe, which is just a few blocks from our home here. They even had a mural painted on the ceiling that featured a PF logo that's been there 11 years since it opened.
94 WYSP morning man Danny Bonaduce and girlfriend Amy Railsback got their tan on at Sun Worshippers (2nd & South) Friday and priced electric pianos at the Plaza at the King of Prussia Mall Saturday, where the actor was happy to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. Based on other Bonaduce spottings, it seems he has taken quite a liking to the lamb pasanda at the Palace at the Ben (9th & Chestnut) near his apartment.

As expected, Philadelphia area native Danny Bonaduce will return to his hometown to host mornings on WYSP/Philadelphia. The station had been without a morning show since the firing of Kidd Chris in May. The Danny Bonaduce Show will commence on Monday, November 10 from 6 to 10 a.m. on 94.1 FM and online at 94wysp.com.
"I couldn't be more thrilled at the prospect of moving home," Bonaduce said. "This is my real home, where I was born. As a traveling disc jockey, you often have to pretend that you've been rooting for the teams of what ever town you're working. I can't tell you how difficult that was when I worked in Detroit. Detroit doesn't even root for Detroit. Go Eagles."

Last time Jose Canseco was here to box, NBC 10's Vai Sikahema laid him out in a minute. Now Canseco plans to battle Broomall-born Danny Bonaduce in a Jan. 17 bout at a location to be announced, promoted of course by Damon Feldman's Celebrity Boxing outfit.
Bonaduce, who we recently reported was being considered for the morning gig at 94 WYSP, has fought at three earlier Celebrity Boxing Federation bouts. The 5-foot-7 "Partridge Family" star can be seen Saturdays on CMT's "Hulk Hogan Celebrity Wrestling," which also features Northeast-raised Frank Stallone.
"The bigger they are, the harder they fall," boasts Bonaduce. "Think of what Mike Tyson used to do to bigger guys. That's what I'm going to do to Canseco."
