SACRAMENTO, CA – Radio personality and former “Partridge Family” child actor Danny Bonaduce is training in Sacramento for his next celebrity boxing match against former A’s slugger Jose Canseco.
“I would like to knock out Jose Canseco,” Bonaduce told News10 Sports Ryan Yamamoto in an exclusive interview. “I told him to his face, he’s 6’6″ and I’m 5’6″, he’s 265 pounds and I’m 165 pounds, and I said to his face — I had to get on a chair to do it –I don’t have anything against you, but I am going to sit right next to you in the hospital until you wake up.”
Bonaduce is on Christmas vacation in the Sacramento area with his girfriend Amy Railsback, who grew up in Rocklin. He was looking for a place to train and found former boxer Angelo Nunez of Primetime Boxing. “Danny knows how to chop and you are going to see Canseco fall down like a piece of lumber,” said Nunez.
Bonaduce is no stranger to the boxing ring. He is undefeated with 12 wins and 11 knockouts, beating Donny Osmond, “Brady Bunch” star Barry Williams and attorney Robert Shapiro. He plans on training in the Sacramento area for a few days before returning to Philadelphia.
The fight will take place January 24 in Aston, Pa. It will be broadcast live at Gofightlive.tv.
