Motorsports race car show in Oaks Today – Danny guest appearance
Auto racing fans can meet some of their favorite drivers at the Motorsports 2011 Race Car & Trade Show at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks, 100 Station Ave. In addition to all the racing stars, the show will include appearances from others in entertainment, including former “The Partridge Family” star Danny Bonaduce.
The show is open 2 to 9 p.m. today, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Kicking off the event will be NASCAR legend and current TV announcer Rusty Wallace, who will be signing autographs from 5 to 7 tonight. On Saturday, NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee David Pearson and NASCAR racer Kenny Wallace both will meet with fans from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
John Force, a 15-time NHRA Funny Car champion, will give a talk to fans beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, followed by an autograph session.
When not getting autographs from their favorite personalities, attendees can check out a wide variety of vehicles on display.
Admission to the show is $12 for adults; $5, for ages 6 to 12; and free for under 6.On Sunday, admission is $10 adults for adults; and free for children
