Former child star Danny Bonaduce tells Showbiz Tonight what it’s really like as a star behind bars. The “Partridge Family” star has been arrested twice in his life — the first time in 1990 for trying to buy cocaine in Florida and then the following year on charges of robbing and beating a transvestite prostitute in Arizona.

Bonaduce tells A.J. Hammer what it was like walking into that jail for the very first time in his life back in 1990. “I was a very young man, I weighed probably 30 pounds less than I do now, it was abject horror and fear,” Bonaduce said. “I’m going into a jail with criminals that could hurt me. And this looked like, they looked like the holding tank you see in the movies, very bad men… scary and really frightening.”
